West N2300 Single Loop Controller
The West N2300 packs single-loop temperature control into one of the smallest panel footprints available, a 1/32 DIN case, without giving up the large, easy-to-read display operators rely on. It is built for equipment where panel space is tight but the need for dependable PID control is not, making it a popular choice across OEM machinery and general industrial heating applications.
How It Works
N2300 accepts thermocouple, PT100 RTD, or DC linear inputs and applies PID control with automatic auto-tuning to find the right control parameters for the connected process, with on-off control also available for simpler applications. Its up to three outputs can be configured as relay or SSR driver types to handle control and alarm duties from a single unit. Despite its compact 1/32 DIN size, its 4-digit display is sized to remain clearly readable, and an IP65-rated front panel keeps it protected in washdown or dusty environments.
Key Features
- Compact 1/32 DIN footprint for space-constrained panels
- Large 4-digit display for easy readability despite the small case size
- Thermocouple, PT100 RTD, and DC linear input options
- PID control with auto-tuning, plus on-off control and alarm functions
- Optional RS485 Modbus communications
- IP65-rated front panel for washdown and dusty environments
Applications
N2300 is well suited to OEM equipment and general industrial machinery where panel space is at a premium but reliable single-loop PID control is still required, including compact heating zones on packaging, plastics, and process equipment.
