West N6400 Single Loop Controller
The West N6400 is a 1/16 DIN single loop controller built for processes that need more than basic on-off or single-mode PID control. With universal inputs, up to three configurable outputs, and a full profiling capability, it gives equipment builders and process engineers a single controller that can adapt to heating, cooling, alarm, and multi-stage profile applications alike.
How It Works
N6400 accepts a universal input, so the same controller works with thermocouple, RTD, or DC linear mA/mV sensors, plus additional digital inputs for supplementary signals. Its raPID fuzzy logic control algorithm adapts to the characteristics of the connected process for tighter, more stable control, while power failure recovery and guaranteed soak protection help processes stay on track through interruptions. Built-in profiling supports 4 programs of 16 segments each for applications that need to move through a defined sequence of setpoints rather than hold a single value.
