West Pro-4 Temperature Regulator Controller
The West Pro-4 is a 1/4 DIN controller at the top of West’s Pro series, combining a Day & Night display, up to six configurable outputs, and a built-in multi-program profiler in a single unit. It is built for processes that need more than basic single-setpoint control, whether that means richer operator feedback, multiple simultaneous outputs, or automated multi-stage temperature profiles.
How It Works
Pro-4 accepts a universal input covering thermocouple, RTD, or DC linear mA/mV sensors, extended with external remote setpoint, potentiometer, or heating current monitoring inputs. Its up to six outputs can be configured as relay, logic/SSR driver, DC linear mA/VDC, or optocoupler types, and dual selectable PID sets allow separate heat and cool tuning parameters. A built-in profiler supports up to 16 programs of 16 segments each with 4 event tracks, letting the controller run automated multi-stage sequences, and self-tuning capability helps establish good PID parameters without manual tuning. Communications extend to Modbus RS422/485 RTU or Profibus-DP for integration into larger industrial networks.
