The West CAL 9400 is a 1/16 DIN single loop temperature controller built around a dual LED display, giving operators a simultaneous view of process value and setpoint at a glance. It shares the same rugged, washdown-rated housing and flexible input/output options as the rest of the CAL range, making it a strong fit anywhere clear at-a-glance monitoring matters as much as precise control.
How It Works
CAL 9400 accepts thermocouple, PT100 RTD, or linear millivolt inputs and applies full PID heat-only or heat/cool control, with an easy-to-use auto-tune routine that calculates optimal PID parameters automatically. Its dual display keeps the current process value and target setpoint visible together, so operators can confirm at a glance whether a process is on track without stepping through menus. Built-in ramp/soak programming supports up to 31 programs of 126 segments each for processes that must follow a defined temperature profile.
