The Setra SRCM is a BACnet-capable room condition monitor, built for low differential pressure measurement in critical spaces. Unlike the SRPM, the SRCM monitors and alarms two rooms from a single unit, and on top of pressure it can display temperature, humidity, and CO2 content. It also adds a replication feature over USB, so when a project needs several identical monitors, you can copy the configuration from one unit to the next instead of setting each one up from scratch.
In actual application, the SRCM uses an onboard dead-ended differential pressure sensor rather than a flow-through design, which is what isolation and protection rooms need to keep contaminated air from passing through the instrument. It has 2 analog inputs for temperature and humidity, plus user-defined parameters, and a digital input for a door alarm. Everything is shown and configured on a 4.3-inch color LCD touchscreen, with two levels of password protection so operators and administrators get different access.
From our experience, this one saves real installation time on multi-room jobs. It fits into a standard, ready-made electrical box instead of needing a custom one, and calibration is push-button zero and span, done in minutes with any low differential pressure calibrator.
