The Setra 223 is an ultra-high purity flow-through pressure transducer, built for special gas monitoring applications where structural integrity and gas purity both matter as much as the pressure reading itself. Its sensor chamber is streamlined so it purges easily and stays mechanically and thermally stable even when airflow causes temperature transients, and the pressure port is isolated from the sensing element, which keeps torque effects from throwing off the measurement.
Every unit goes through deionized water rinsing, high purity hot nitrogen purging, drying, double-layer packaging, nitrogen filling and sealing before shipment. Wetted parts are 316L VIM/VAR stainless steel, passivated to 7 Ra maximum finish, and each transducer is helium leak tested to 1×10-9 ATM.CC/sec. Pressure ranges run from 0-25 PSI to 0-3000 PSI (0-1.7 to 0-200 bar), with compound ranges also available, accuracy of ±0.25% FS or ±1.0% of reading, and output of 4-20mA or 0-5VDC/0-10VDC/0.2-5.2VDC/0.2-10.2VDC. It connects via a VCR fitting with a 4-pin bayonet, 9-pin D-sub, 15-pin D-sub, or 6-foot multi-conductor cable.
From our experience, this is specified for high-purity gas delivery systems, semiconductor process tools, pharmaceutical and biotechnological processes, and gas cabinets. Before we quote this, we would normally check the pressure range, output signal, and connector type needed. Hope this helps.
