The Setra 230 Differential Pressure sensor is Setra’s highest precision solution for monitoring differential pressure in wet-wet applications. Its single diaphragm design provides true wet-to-wet differential pressure measurement with excellent ±0.25% FS accuracy, while competing products use two single-point pressure sensors to calculate differential pressure. The stainless steel capacitive sensor provides high precision, linear analog output proportional to pressure over a wide temperature range. In addition, the Setra 230 sensor offers an optional 3-valve or 5-valve machined brass manifold for easy installation and maintenance.
The single diaphragm sensor is not affected by line pressure.
Unlike competing products, the Setra 230 pressure sensor is a true wet-wet differential pressure sensor with a single diaphragm construction. As a result, the differential pressure range of a single diaphragm is not affected by the line pressure. In contrast, the dual differential pressure sensor requires each sensor to measure the gauge pressure separately and compare the output signals to determine the differential pressure.
