The Contrec 150A Process Indicator gives a clear, at-a-glance readout of any 4-20mA process signal, whether it’s coming from a pressure or temperature transmitter, a weigh scale, a pH sensor, a flowmeter, or a level transmitter. A 20-segment LCD bar graph shows the signal as a proportion of its full range, while a 7-digit numeric display reads the value out in whatever engineering unit suits the process. Because it’s powered entirely from the 4-20mA loop it’s monitoring, there’s no external power supply or battery to install, which keeps wiring simple wherever it’s mounted.
Four programmable process alarms, each with its own opto-isolated open-collector output, can flag high-high, high, low, and low-low conditions to external relays or annunciators. A 25-point non-linearity correction table lets the display track sensors whose output isn’t perfectly linear across their range, and all configuration is held in non-volatile memory so settings survive a power interruption. The weatherproof housing and choice of wall, panel, or pipe mounting make it a flexible, self-contained readout for almost any loop-powered process signal.
