The Contrec 104D Flow Rate Totalizer bridges the gap between a pulse-output flowmeter and a 4-20mA control system, taking the pulse or frequency signal from a turbine, positive displacement, or paddlewheel meter and converting it into a loop-powered display with its own 4-20mA retransmit output. That makes it a practical way to bring a pulse-output meter into a plant that standardizes on analog signaling, without adding a separate converter and power supply.
A 10-point calibration curve linearizes the input across the full flow range, and both rate and running total stay visible simultaneously on the dual LCD display. Two open-collector alarm outputs handle high and low flow signaling independently, a pulse output is available for feeding a remote counter, and the same IP67 watertight enclosure and non-volatile memory used across the 100-series keep the unit reliable in the field and its settings safe through a power interruption.
