The Contrec 104D.2 is the wall-mount version of the 104D Flow Rate Totalizer, housed in a weatherproof field enclosure with standard cable glands for outdoor or process-area installation away from a control panel. It carries the same core function as the standard 104D: a loop-powered pulse-to-4-20mA retransmit totalizer that reads a pulse or frequency signal from a turbine, positive displacement, or paddlewheel flowmeter and turns it into both a local rate display and a proportional 4-20mA output back to your control system.
Since the unit is powered entirely from the same 4-20mA loop it feeds, there’s no separate power cable to run to the field location, which simplifies wiring for a remote or outdoor mounting position. A 10-point linearization curve keeps the displayed rate and the retransmitted signal accurate across the full flow range, even when the flowmeter’s raw output isn’t linear. Dual alarm outputs and an onboard totalizing register make it a complete, self-contained flow instrument for sites where a panel-mounted unit isn’t practical.
