The Contrec 150A.2 is the wall-mount version of the 150A Process Indicator, housed in a weatherproof field enclosure with standard cable glands for installation right at the process rather than in a control panel. It gives a clear, at-a-glance readout of any 4-20mA process signal, whether it’s coming from a pressure or temperature transmitter, a weigh scale, a pH sensor, a flowmeter, or a level transmitter. A 20-segment LCD bar graph shows the signal as a proportion of its full range, while a 7-digit numeric display reads the value out in whatever engineering unit suits the process, and since it’s powered entirely from the 4-20mA loop it’s monitoring, there’s no separate power cable to run to the field location.
Four programmable process alarms, each with its own opto-isolated open-collector output, can flag high-high, high, low, and low-low conditions to external relays or annunciators. A 25-point non-linearity correction table lets the display track sensors whose output isn’t perfectly linear across their range, and all configuration is held in non-volatile memory so settings survive a power interruption. The weatherproof housing lets it be mounted right where operators need to read the process value in the field.
