The Contrec 103D Input Flow Totalizer runs on external 9-28V DC power rather than internal batteries alone, making it a practical modern replacement for mechanical flow registers on irrigation lines and pipeline metering skids where a DC supply is already available nearby. It works with turbine, positive displacement, and paddlewheel flowmeters, displaying live rate and cumulative total on its own weatherproof LCD.
Four opto-isolated alarm outputs give the 103D more alarm points than the battery-only 102-series units, useful where high and low flow limits both need independent signaling out to a PLC or annunciator panel. Housed in the same IP67 watertight enclosure as the rest of the range, it keeps two years of battery backup on hand so programmed settings and totals survive a power interruption, and every parameter is set from its own tactile keypad without a separate programming tool.
