We had an enquiry from a customer who needed a process indicator for a 0~10V or 4~20mA signal, but with a faster response and tighter control than a basic 4-digit meter could give them – they mentioned needing to react quickly to a fast-changing pressure reading. That pointed us straight to a 6-digit meter rather than the entry-level models.
This looks simple, but before we quote this one, we need to understand your control sequence, not just the input signal. The ADtek A6-PR gives you up to 4 relay outputs, and each one can be individually set to HI/OK/LO comparison, compare over a set time period, or compare by trigger – so we would need to know what each relay is actually meant to do in your process. It also has 4 external control inputs (from terminals or the front keys) for zero return, tare, gross, net, or start/end of measuring, so we’d also confirm which of those functions your application actually needs.
In actual application, the A6-PR takes a DC 0~5V, 0~10V, or 0(4)~20mA signal and displays it on a 6-digit display (0~999999), with a programmable sampling rate from 6.25 to 100 times per second – so you can tune it for either a stable average reading or a fast response, depending on the application. It also supports site calibration, so you can calibrate it against your actual input signal and expected display value on site rather than relying on factory defaults. Analog output and RS485 (Modbus RTU) communication are available as options if you need to feed the reading elsewhere. It’s commonly used for pressure measuring and control, high-speed response control systems, flow measuring and control, and testing/test management equipment.
From our experience, before we quote this, we would normally check your input signal type, how fast a response you need (which affects the sampling rate setting), what each relay output needs to do, and whether you need the RS485 communication option. Hope this helps.
