West PO2-W08 Transmitter Power Supply Option Board
The West PO2-W08 is a plug-in option board that gives a West Plus Series controller its own onboard power source for an external transmitter, removing the need for a separate power supply when wiring in a 2-wire transmitter. It is a simple, space-saving way to power auxiliary field instruments directly from the controller itself.
How It Works
PO2-W08 installs into Option Slot 3 of a compatible Plus Series controller and provides an unregulated 24V DC supply at 22mA, sized to power a typical loop-powered transmitter. Because it occupies Option Slot 3 specifically, it must not be fitted into Option Slot 2, and it is intended for use alongside the controller’s own input wiring to keep transmitter power and signal on a single, tidy installation.
