West PO2-C50 SSR Driver Option Board
The West PO2-C50 is a plug-in SSR driver board that adds a solid-state relay drive output to a West Plus Series controller, giving processes that need fast, contactless switching an easy way to add that capability to an existing controller. It is a practical option for heating loads that benefit from solid-state switching rather than mechanical relay contacts.
How It Works
PO2-C50 installs into Option Slot 2 or Slot 3 of a compatible Plus Series controller, providing a 0-10V DC drive signal suited to solid-state relays with a load resistance of 500 ohms or more. Because it plugs directly into the host controller’s option slot, it can be added as a field upgrade wherever a process is moved from mechanical relay switching to solid-state relay control.
