West 6100+ Digital Temperature Controller
Panel space is often the tightest constraint in a control cabinet, and a full-size controller doesn’t always fit where one is needed. The West 6100+ packs the same single-loop control capability as its larger siblings into a compact 1/16 DIN footprint, with a plug-in card architecture that lets you fit exactly the inputs and outputs the application calls for.
How It Works
The controller reads a thermocouple, RTD, or DC linear signal from the process and drives an output — relay, SSR, triac, or linear — using full PID control with pre-tune and self-tune, or simple on-off control when that’s all a process needs. Dual setpoints, with optional remote selection, let one controller cover two operating conditions without reprogramming, while independently configurable alarms flag process or loop conditions before they become a problem.
Key Features
- Compact 1/16 DIN footprint for space-constrained panels
- Plug-in output modules — fit only the functions the application needs
- Dual setpoints with optional remote selection
- Full PID with pre-tune and self-tune, or on-off control
- Process and loop alarms for proactive monitoring
Applications
Used across plastics processing, packaging, ovens and furnaces, and general industrial heating where panel space is limited but a controller still needs to hold a setpoint accurately.
