West CAL 9500P Programmable Temperature Controller
The West CAL 9500P is the most capable member of the CAL 1/16 DIN controller family, adding a full programmable profiler and analog process inputs and outputs on top of the precise PID control the CAL range is built on. It is designed for processes that need to move through multi-stage temperature profiles automatically, rather than simply holding a fixed setpoint, while retaining the same rugged, washdown-rated housing as the rest of the CAL line.
How It Works
CAL 9500P accepts thermocouple, PT100 RTD, or 4-20mA/0-5V/0-10V process inputs, and its up to three configurable outputs can combine relay, SSR, and analog signals to drive heating, cooling, alarm, and event functions from one controller. Its programmable profiler runs up to 31 programs of 126 segments each, with up to 999 program loop cycles, so multi-stage heat treatment or curing cycles can run unattended once configured. An improved stability specification versus the standard CAL 9300/9400 models helps hold tighter setpoints over long production runs.
