The West CAL 9300 is a 1/16 DIN single loop temperature controller that pairs a compact panel-mount footprint with the precision and programming depth that demanding heat-treat, plastics, and general industrial processes require. Its single 4-digit LED display keeps the process value in clear view, while its flexible inputs and outputs let it slot into a wide range of heating and heating/cooling applications.
How It Works
CAL 9300 accepts thermocouple, PT100 RTD, or linear millivolt inputs, so the same controller can be configured to the sensor already installed on a machine. Its PID heat-only and heat/cool algorithms are backed by derivative approach control (dAC) to reduce temperature overshoot during startup and setpoint changes, and its built-in ramp/soak programming supports up to 31 programs of 126 segments each for processes that need to move through a defined temperature profile rather than hold a single setpoint.
