The Setra SRPM is a single-room BACnet-capable room pressure monitor, built for measuring low differential pressure in critical spaces like isolation rooms and cleanrooms. It uses a backlit touchscreen LCD for setup, so an installer can configure alarm set points, passwords, and audible alarm conditions right on the unit without needing a separate programming tool.
In actual application, the SRPM uses an onboard dead-ended low differential pressure sensor rather than a flow-through design, which is the sensor type protection and isolation rooms are meant to use to keep contaminated air from passing through. The bi-directional sensor lets the room switch between protection mode, isolation mode, or standby when the room isn’t in use, and it has a digital input for a door alarm too.
From our experience, this one saves real installation time. It fits into an off-the-shelf electrical box instead of needing a custom one at rough-in stage, and calibration is just push-button zero and span, done in minutes with any low differential pressure calibrator. It also only needs zeroing at install, which keeps the ongoing cost of ownership down.
