The Setra MRC is a multi-range differential pressure transducer built specifically for critical environments, where standard multi-range sensors don’t hold tight enough accuracy. It offers ±0.5% FS accuracy, with a field-selectable range down to 0.1 in. W.C., which matters because most multi-range transducers on the market only manage 1% FS, not good enough for a lot of critical applications.
In actual application, the MRC has 4 selectable ranges and 3 selectable outputs, and it’s field-configurable for range, mounting (DIN rail, wall mount, or duct mount), output (mA or voltage), and engineering units (W.C. or Pascals). That flexibility means one unit can be set up on site to match the job, rather than ordering a specific fixed configuration in advance.
From our experience, the housing holds up well in harsh environments. It’s IP67 rated and gasket-sealed for wash-down duty, with a conduit fitting that makes wiring easier. The sensing element itself is all stainless steel, welded and dead-ended, which needs minimal amplification and gives good long-term stability.
