The Setra Model 276 is a low-cost atmospheric and absolute pressure transmitter, built for OEM applications and system integrators rather than one-off site installs. It has a small form factor and uses Setra’s SETRACERAM ceramic sensing element, which keeps the price down without giving up the accuracy an OEM customer needs to build into their own product.
In actual application, the 276 comes with a wide range of electrical and mechanical options, so it can be configured to drop into a new or existing piece of hardware or software without a custom redesign on your end. That flexibility is what helps OEM projects stay on budget and on schedule.
From our experience, the ceramic sensing element is the real advantage here over older stainless steel designs. It holds up better under temperature swings, has lower hysteresis, and gives more accurate, more repeatable readings in testing. It shows up often in environmental monitoring systems, wind measurement systems, weather data recording, cleanroom atmospheric pressure compensation, and motor vehicle emission test equipment.
