The Setra Model 270 is Setra’s highest performance analog sensor for atmospheric, absolute, and gauge pressure measurement. It’s been in the field for decades, and it’s still the go-to choice for critical applications where the accuracy of the pressure reading is what makes or breaks the result. It uses ceramic sensing components, holding ±0.03% FS accuracy across a wide operating temperature range.
In actual application, the sensor itself is a variable capacitance design built around Setra’s SETRACERAM ceramic sensing element (ceramic, glass, and gold). That combination gives it better temperature-impact performance and lower hysteresis than stainless steel sensing elements, which is why it tests more accurately and holds up better over time.
From our experience, the 270 also makes project planning easier.
