The Setra 201 is a very low differential pressure transducer, built for measuring small gauge or differential pressures at a reasonable price without giving up accuracy. It uses an all-welded construction with no O-rings, so there is no seal to leak or degrade over time, which matters a lot when the pressure difference being measured is small to begin with.
Inside, it uses Setra’s variable capacitance sensor design, with a 600 series Inconel (nickel-chromium alloy) diaphragm and insulated electrode that convert small capacitance changes into a linear 4-20mA current loop output. Accuracy is ±0.5% FS standard, with a ±0.25% FS option, and response time is 20 milliseconds. It can handle overvoltage up to 45 PSI proof pressure (100 PSI burst), and operates across -33°C to +80°C (-25°F to +175°F). Pressure ranges include 0-2 PSI, 0-20 PSI, ±1 PSI, ±2 PSI, 0-50″ W.C., and metric equivalents such as 0-10 kPa and ±5 kPa. Wiring is 2-wire, via a 2-foot multiconductor cable or a 3-screw terminal block.
From our experience, this gets specified for steam recovery systems, exhaust control systems, and industrial scrubbers, wherever a small pressure differential needs reliable long-term monitoring.
