The Setra 209 is a gauge pressure transducer built for industrial and OEM customers who need good accuracy and reliability without paying for features they don’t need. Accuracy is ±0.25% FS across a pressure range of 0-1 PSI up to 0-10,000 PSI, and it is available in gauge, compound, sealed, and vacuum configurations.
Wetted parts are all stainless steel (17-4 PH), with a stainless steel and Valox case and a 1/4″ NPT external pressure fitting. It uses a true low-voltage sensor design, so it can measure pressures as low as 1 PSI without needing a signal amplifier, and a patented overpressure stop lets select ranges withstand overpressure up to 16 times the rated range without damage. Output is 4-20mA (2-wire) or 0.5-5.5VDC (3-wire), with 1-5VDC, 1-6VDC and 0.5-4.5VDC also available, on 9-30VDC excitation. Response time is 5 milliseconds, and it is rated to 200g shock and 20g vibration.
From our experience, this gets specified for industrial OEM equipment, construction machinery, hydraulic systems, compressor control, HVAC/R equipment, and industrial engines.
