The MTT MS3762F Slim Plug-In Subtractor is the fast-response version of the MS3762, taking two independent DC current or voltage signals and outputting a signal proportional to the difference between them. It suits the same differential and deviation-measurement roles as the standard subtractor, such as computing pressure drop across a filter or comparing a live process reading against a setpoint, but is intended for processes where that differential needs to be available almost instantly.
What separates the MS3762F from its standard counterpart is its markedly quicker settling time, letting the calculated difference keep pace with fast-changing inputs rather than lagging behind them. Independently configurable scaling factors on each input still allow the two signals to be weighted before subtraction, front-accessible trimmers provide on-site zero and span adjustment, and four-way galvanic isolation between input, output, and power keeps the subtracted signal protected from noise and ground loops — all combined with the faster response the “F” designation implies.
