The MTT MS3728 is a slim plug-in tacho-generator transmitter that reads the AC voltage output of a tachometer generator and converts it into a standard, isolated DC signal for speed monitoring and control systems. Since a tacho-generator produces a voltage that rises with shaft speed, the MS3728 turns that raw AC signal into a clean process value that displays, controllers, and overspeed protection systems can use directly.
A wide range of input voltage spans and frequencies are supported to match different generator types, and current or voltage output options let it fit the receiving equipment, with a second isolated output for feeding an independent monitoring or alarm system at the same time. Like the rest of the plug-in transmitter series, the MS3728 clips into its own socket base for fast swap-out during calibration or maintenance without disturbing the field wiring, and flexible AC or DC power plus wall or DIN rail mounting make it easy to fit into an existing panel.
