The Dwyer Series MSX Magnesense® Differential Pressure Transmitter builds on the proven stability and flexibility of the MS2 Magnesense® II, making it ideal for building automation and control systems. Designed to streamline configuration, the MSX offers simplified ordering and reduced setup time.
It supports pressure measurement in Pascals (Pa), millimeters of water column (mm w.c.), and inches of water column (in w.c.), with selectable unidirectional or bidirectional operation—delivering a total of 32 configurable ranges.
Outputs can be set for linear pressure or linear velocity measurements, with square root extraction available for flow calculations. The square root function includes extended parameters for enhanced flow measurement capabilities.
For flexibility in integration, the MSX provides both dual voltage and current (mA) outputs, allowing one signal to handle control functions while the other is used for monitoring or verification.
Product Applications
- Filter monitoring in air handler units
- Building pressure in pharmaceutical/semiconductor clean rooms
- Duct static pressure in commercial buildings
- Air velocity/flow in VAV systems
