The Contrec 515-FC01 is a rate totaliser for liquid and petroleum flow measurement, built on Contrec’s 515 flow computer platform. It reads a frequency or analogue signal from a volumetric flowmeter and shows flow rate, resettable total, and accumulated total on its display, with the option to correct for a live or fixed density value.
Being on the 515 platform, it shares the same solid hardware base as the rest of the 515 family: multiple analogue and frequency inputs, RS232/RS485 or Ethernet communication with Modbus support, and relay or 4-20mA outputs depending on how it’s configured. This is the more general-purpose application code in the range, so we’d normally check whether one of the more specific 515 applications, like the natural gas or steam computers, is actually a better fit before quoting this one.
Before we quote this, we would normally confirm the flowmeter’s output type (frequency or 4-20mA), whether density compensation is needed, and the communication protocol the customer’s system expects. Hope this helps.
