The Contrec 425.10UC is the panel mount version of the 425 Mass Flow Computer, running on universal 110/240Vac power and fitted with conformal coating on the circuit board. This ordering code has no 4-20mA output, so it’s meant for installations where the flow rate and total just need to be read locally or logged through the RS232/RS485 ports, not sent on to a PLC or SCADA system.
Like the rest of the 425 family, it reads a pulse or frequency signal from a flowmeter and applies digital filtering so the displayed rate stays steady even if the raw signal is a bit pulsating. The conformal coating option is worth mentioning specifically, it’s a protective layer over the circuit board that we’d recommend for a humid or lightly corrosive environment, coastal sites or areas with a lot of washdown being typical examples.
