We had an enquiry from a customer who needed a plug-in panel conditioner for temperature – reading RTD or thermocouple directly and giving them an analogue output plus relay alarms for a control panel. The ADtek ST-T covers this well, and it plugs into the same 11-pin socket as the rest of ADtek’s ST series, so it’s easy to standardise across a panel with mixed measurement types.
This looks simple, but “temperature conditioner” still needs some checking. The ST-T reads RTD Pt100Ω or thermocouple type K, J, E, T, R, S, B, with accuracy of ±0.1% for RTD and ±0.2% for thermocouple – so we would need to know your sensor type before quoting. The unit is user-programmable from the top panel, no separate software needed.
In actual application, the ST-T gives you 1 analogue output, 1 RS-485 port, and 3 relay outputs, with cross-selection allowing up to 3 of these outputs active at once (so you would pick which combination you actually need – for example analogue plus 2 relays, or RS-485 plus all 3 relays). CE approved.
From our experience, before we quote this, we would normally check your sensor type (RTD or thermocouple, and which type), the temperature range you’re measuring, and which combination of analogue output, RS-485, and relay outputs you need active. Hope this helps.
