We had an enquiry from a customer running an online test station for motor coils, who needed a panel meter to check winding resistance quickly against a pass/fail limit, rather than reading a handheld meter and writing the number down each time. The ADtek CS2-RS is built for this – direct 2-wire resistance measurement with relay outputs for pass/fail alarming.
This looks simple, but coil and transformer winding resistances can range from a couple of ohms up to tens of thousands, so the CS2-RS is built with 4 measuring ranges – 0~200Ω, 2000Ω, 20.0KΩ, or 200.0KΩ – and 4 pre-set banks, each with its own scaling and relay set points, selectable by external control input or front key. That means you can test different coil types or motor sizes on the same line without reconfiguring the meter each time.
In actual application, the CS2-RS does field calibration directly with an actual resistance to match your system, and gives you 4 relays (individually programmable Hi/Lo/Hi Latch/Lo Latch/Go, with delay and hysteresis, or as remote control), 3 external control inputs (including Tare), and analogue output or RS-485 Modbus RTU as options. It’s built for resistance testing on motor coils, transformer windings, relay coils, and similar components – on a testing bench or as part of an online test station with PC/PLC communication. CE and RoHS compliant.
From our experience, before we quote this, we would normally check the resistance range(s) you actually need to cover, how many banks and relays you need for your test sequence, and whether you need the analogue or RS-485 option. Hope this helps.
