West 4700+ Limit Controller
When a process runs hot enough to damage equipment or put people at risk, the temperature controller isn’t the safeguard you want standing between normal operation and a runaway condition — a dedicated limit controller is. The West 4700+ watches the process independently and latches a relay the moment a set safety threshold is crossed, cutting power and requiring a deliberate manual reset before anything restarts.
How It Works
A 5A latching limit relay ships as standard, backed by non-latching alarm relays for early warning before the hard limit is reached. Auto-hardware detection sets up connected I/O automatically, and the controller can be configured from its own front panel or from a PC, so commissioning doesn’t mean re-learning a new interface for every job. Sensor break is detected in under two seconds, and the unit can be reconfigured in the field without opening it up or swapping jumpers.
