The Setra MR2 is a high-pressure multi-range differential pressure transducer, built to combine the flexibility of a multi-range sensor with the accuracy of a single-range device. It offers 8 selectable pressure ranges and 3 selectable outputs, adjustable on site with a flip of a switch or jumper, so a contractor can stock one part number instead of several.
In actual application, the MR2 is field-configurable for range, mounting (wall mount, duct mount, or DIN rail), output (mA or voltage), and engineering units (W.C. or Pascals). The housing is IP67/NEMA 4 rated, gasket-sealed and wash-down capable, with a conduit fitting that makes wiring straightforward.
From our experience, the stainless steel capacitive sensing element is the real strength here. It stays stable and linear, and it can measure low pressures below 0.0001 in. W.C. at high accuracy, which is useful when a job needs both a wide pressure range and fine low-end resolution from the same unit.
