The Precision Digital Loop Leader+ is a user-friendly loop-powered meter designed to display a 4-20 mA signal effortlessly. It features a large dual-line display that includes a 2.8-inch top display showing the process variable and a 1.5-inch bottom display that can show units of measure or a custom tag.
For models that measure in feet and inches, the top display will show the level in both feet and inches, while the bottom line can be customized to display a tag or message. Additionally, this meter comes with a 20-segment bar graph that visually represents the percentage of the measurement.
Setting up the Loop Leader+ is simple with the free MeterView XL software, which connects via a micro USB cable. You can choose from two configurations: one for display only and another that includes two solid-state relays and a 4-20 mA analog output.
All models are equipped with two open collector outputs and remote contacts. The open collector outputs are perfect for alarm indications, while the remote contacts allow you to operate programming buttons from a distance, acknowledge relays, and control timers or stopwatches. The relays can be programmed for various functions, including alarm notifications, on/off control, or pump alternation.
