The MTT MS3772 Slim Plug-In Programmable RTD Temperature Transmitter converts a 3-wire RTD input into a standard isolated DC current or voltage output, supporting Pt100, JPt100, and Pt50 sensor types on a single hardware platform. Rather than stocking a different transmitter for each RTD type and range combination, panel builders can configure one MS3772 to match the sensor and temperature span the application calls for.
Setup is done from a PC over an RS-232C connection, where the RTD type, measuring range, output configuration, and burnout behavior are all programmed digitally, and zero and span are fine-tuned the same way rather than with mechanical trimmers. Selectable burnout protection drives the output upscale or downscale if the RTD lead opens, giving an unambiguous fault indication, while LED status indicators show run and fault conditions at a glance. Four-way isolation between input, both outputs, and power keeps the transmitted temperature signal protected from noise and ground loops.
