Like the standard MS3766, it releases the hold and resumes tracking the live input as soon as the hold command is cleared.
What sets the MS3766H apart is its front-panel UP and DOWN switches, which let a technician manually nudge the held output value up or down once it is frozen — useful for manual-station style operation where an operator needs to bias or override a held signal on site rather than simply freezing it as-is. An adjustable output delay lets the transition into hold mode be timed to the process, and clear LED status indicators show whether the unit is tracking live, holding, or reporting a fault. As with the standard model, isolation between input, hold control, output, and power keeps the signal protected from noise and ground loops.
