The MS3709 is a high-reliability, slim plug-in pulse shaper (pulse isolator) designed to accept pulse train signals from process sensors or field devices, shape the waveforms, convert signal levels, and deliver clean, isolated outputs. Engineered to conserve space within packed control enclosures, this versatile instrument features an ultra-slim 29mm wide housing optimized for reliable wall or DIN rail mounting and provides an isolated single or dual output. The MS3709 supports multiple pulse input formats—including dry contacts, open collectors, AC voltage pulses, and 4-20mA DC current pulses—making it highly adaptable across diverse flow monitoring and speed-sensing systems. Built with comprehensive 4-way galvanic isolation rated for a 2000V AC dielectric strength, the pulse shaper completely protects delicate PLC inputs and SCADA systems from disruptive ground loops, high-voltage transients, and common-mode electrical noise.
