E+E EE300Ex Humidity and Temperature Sensor for Intrinsically Safe Applications
The E+E EE300Ex measures humidity and temperature in explosion-hazard areas for both gas and dust, and complies with ATEX (Europe), IECEx (international) and FM (USA/Canada) classifications. Its stainless steel housing is easy to clean and well suited to pharmaceutical and chemical plants.
How It Works
A two-part enclosure lets you remove the unit for calibration without rewiring. Besides relative humidity and temperature, the EE300Ex calculates dew point, wet-bulb temperature, absolute humidity and more, and outputs on two 4–20 mA loops in 2-wire technology. It can also measure moisture in oil, as water content in ppm or water activity (aw).
