The Contrec Model 515 (Application GN04) is an advanced natural gas flow computer designed specifically for differential pressure elements calibrated to ISO 5167 (2003) or V-Cone standards. Engineered for maximum fidelity in fiscal and custody transfer loops, the math engine natively handles 9 distinct ISO 5167 meter configurations (including orifice plates, nozzles, and venturi tubes) and 2 specialized cone categories. To ensure extreme precision, it applies the AGA-8 Detailed Characterization Method to calculate gas density, compressibility, and real-time Reynolds numbers across complex 21-component gas matrices. Gross heating values are concurrently evaluated via ISO 6976:1995 and GPA 2172-96 standards. Built for industrial process automation, it allows operators to toggle between Detail and Basic main menus to streamline plant interaction.
