The Contrec 515 BR02 is a batch and ratio controller designed for delivering specific quantities at set flow rates using a volumetric analogue input. It can operate in either preset or on-off modes for batch control, while flow control can be configured for local (manual) operation or PI loop mode.
This system offers operators a clear local display that shows flow rate deviations, and it can be integrated into more automated systems for remote control via communications. Users can quickly access frequently used preset values directly from the front panel, provided they have the necessary authorization.
The PI control of the process flow is managed through a 4-20mA proportional valve. It features built-in wind-up protection, a deadband, output hold, and programmable ramp time to minimize wear on valves and actuators, ensuring smooth and bumpless operation.
