The Contrec 414 is an older-generation Batch Controller for flow applications needing precise control of batch quantities, using a pulse or frequency input from an opto-sensor, Hall effect, or reed switch flowmeter. It has been discontinued by Contrec and replaced by the newer 424 Batch Controller, which is a direct functional upgrade using the same kind of input signal.
We’re keeping this listing up mainly for customers with an existing 414 installation who need to understand what they have, or who are planning a replacement. It ran automatic overrun compensation and dual-stage valve control, similar in concept to the 424, with a choice of DC or AC power depending on how the original installation was wired.
If you have a 414 that needs replacing or repairing, talk to us before ordering anything. We would check your existing wiring, input signal type, and power supply so we can confirm the 424 (or whichever current model fits) will drop into the same installation without rewiring the whole panel. Hope this helps.
