The Setra SRH200 is a cost-effective humidity and temperature transmitter built for HVAC applications. It uses a capacitive sensing element with good long-term stability and resistance to pollutants, and gives a measurement accuracy of ±2.5% RH. It’s available for wall or duct mounting, and you can choose current, voltage, BACnet MS/TP, or Modbus RTU output depending on what your system needs.
In actual application, Setra also offers optional configuration accessories (SETRAPCA1 and SETRAPCA2) with user-friendly software that let you set RS485 interface parameters, customize output scaling, or do a one or two point field adjustment of the RH and temperature reading on any SRH200 unit – handy if you need to recalibrate on site without sending the unit back.
From our experience, the form factor on this one is worth mentioning too. The quarter-turn bayonet screws and easily accessible electrical connections make for a fast, low-cost installation, and the IP65/NEMA4 faceplate holds up well against contaminants and condensation, so it keeps working reliably over the years.
Before we quote this, we would normally check whether you need wall or duct mounting, the output type your BMS expects (analog, BACnet, or Modbus), and whether you need the standard filter or an optional membrane filter for dirtier air. Hope this helps.
