The Setra MRG is a universal differential pressure transducer built for HVAC contractors and service technicians who need one part number to cover several jobs. It combines the flexibility of a multi-range sensor with the accuracy of a single-range device, and everything that matters on site, the pressure range, the output signal, and the mounting style, is field-configurable rather than fixed at the factory.
In actual application, the MRG offers 8 field-selectable pressure ranges across 0.5, 1.0, 2.5, and 5.0 in. W.C. spans, and the output can be set to either mA or Volt. Mounting is just as flexible: DIN rail, wall mount, or duct mount, so it fits whatever the site calls for without ordering a different model. The housing is IP67 rated and gasket-sealed, so it holds up to wash-down and general HVAC/R environments including air handling units, duct systems, and cleanrooms.
From our experience, the stainless steel capacitive sensing element is what makes this one worth using for low-pressure work too. It stays stable and linear even below 0.001 in. W.C., which matters for cleanroom-grade differential pressure jobs, not just standard HVAC duct pressure. Installation is straightforward, with external mounting tabs and a field-accessible push-button zero and span setup.
