The Setra LITE is a simple, cost-effective way to measure and display room differential pressure in a single room, without needing a full building monitoring system. It’s built for spaces that currently rely on manual pressure checks – hospital isolation rooms, compounding pharmacies, dental operatories, and sterile supply storage, where staff need to know at a glance whether the room pressure relationship is still safe.
The main feature is a 360-degree light ring around the unit that glows green for a safe reading and red when the room goes into alarm, so staff walking down a corridor can see the status without opening the door or checking a screen. Inside, it uses a variable capacitance sensing element for long-term accuracy, which cuts down how often someone needs to walk by and manually verify the reading. It also comes with a digital display showing the actual pressure reading, room mode (positive or negative), and the engineering unit in use, plus a configurable audible alert for extra warning.
In actual application, the unit mounts on a standard single-gang wall plate and installs into a normal electrical wall box, so it fits into most existing rooms without extra wall work. It can also put out a 0-5Vdc or 0-10Vdc analog signal if you want to feed the live pressure reading back to a central building management system, and it can link to a Setra FLEX monitor for rooms with more than one door.
