The Setra Model 370 is a high-precision digital manometer, built around a microprocessor that combines Setra’s own sensing components with digital circuitry to hit ±0.02% FS system accuracy. It reads out on a 6-digit LCD, and it can also send that data out over a bidirectional RS-232 interface, so it works as a standalone gauge or as part of a larger data logging setup.
In actual application, the front panel lets you switch engineering units, log minimum and maximum readings, set high and low alarm points, adjust the baud rate, and run calibration, all from the keypad or over the same communication interface. Data can go out continuously, at set intervals, or only when requested, depending on how the receiving system is set up.
From our experience, the optional rechargeable battery pack is what makes this one flexible. With it, the 370 isn’t just a bench instrument, it becomes a portable precision gauge you can carry out to the field for calibration work, on top of its usual role in weather stations, pressure transfer reference work, lab and process monitoring, and pressure chamber testing.
