The MTT MS3740 is a slim plug-in signal reverser that inverts a DC current or voltage signal, turning a direct-acting input into a reverse-acting output, for example converting a 4-20mA signal that rises with the process into a 20-4mA signal that falls instead. That makes it a simple way to fit a transmitter into a control loop that expects the opposite action, without reprogramming the controller or the transmitter itself.
It accepts a range of current and voltage inputs and provides current or voltage output options to match the receiving equipment, with a second isolated output available for feeding an independent monitoring or control system at the same time. Like the rest of the plug-in transmitter series, the MS3740 clips into its own socket base for fast swap-out during calibration or maintenance without disturbing the field wiring, and flexible AC or DC power plus wall or DIN rail mounting make it easy to fit into an existing panel.
