The MTT MS3714 is a slim plug-in limiter that converts a DC current or voltage signal into a standard output while clamping it within adjustable upper and lower boundaries. If the incoming signal spikes or drops beyond the range a process can safely handle, the MS3714 holds its output at the set limit instead of passing the excursion through, protecting downstream controllers, recorders, and displays from over-range signals and helping keep a process from being driven outside its safe operating window.
Both limits are independently adjustable, so the unit can be tuned to the exact ceiling and floor a given application needs. Like the rest of the plug-in transmitter series, the MS3714 clips into its own socket base for fast swap-out during calibration or maintenance, and a second isolated output is available for feeding an independent monitoring system. Flexible AC or DC power plus wall or DIN rail mounting make it easy to fit into an existing panel.
