MTT MS3064 Terminal Block Type Loop-Powered Isolator

The MTT MS3064 terminal block isolator breaks a 4-20mA current loop electrically into two separate, isolated sections without needing an external power supply — it draws everything it needs from the loop itself. That makes it one of the simplest ways to add isolation to an existing loop: no extra wiring, no power terminals to land, just insert it in line with the existing current signal.

Isolating the loop this way eliminates ground loops and blocks common-mode noise between the two sides of the circuit, which matters whenever a transmitter and its receiving instrument are grounded at different points or share a panel with noisy equipment. The compact, lightweight DIN-rail housing keeps the footprint small even in a crowded panel.

It is a practical fix for isolating a single 4-20mA channel between a transmitter and a PLC or recorder, breaking a troublesome ground loop, or splitting a signal path so two grounding domains never touch electrically.
