The Contrec 515 CB01 is a blending controller designed for measuring blending flow in both main and process lines using frequency flow inputs.
This blending controller offers multiple operating modes: PRESET, ON-OFF (manual), and RELEASE. The RELEASE mode simplifies the tuning of the control loop for better performance.
By monitoring both the main and process flows, the controller calculates the net volume flow. Operators can easily view the total ratios and flow rate ratios. Control of the process flow is managed through a digital control valve, and the flow rate deadband and control responsiveness can be adjusted to minimize wear on the valves, ensuring long-lasting performance in blending and ratio control applications.
