For use in hazardous areas, the Contrec 214Di is an intrinsically safe model with both ATEX and CSA approvals, making it suitable for both the USA and Canada. The Contrec 214D ATEX Batch Controller accepts pulse or frequency flow signals from various flowmeters, including turbine, positive displacement, and paddlewheel types. You can control single or two-stage processes with the Contrec 214D, as it is equipped with two solid-state relays, allowing for smooth slow stop and slow start operations.
The Contrec 214D operates on an external power source ranging from 9 to 28 Volts and consumes no more than 4mA. In case of a power interruption, lithium batteries ensure that totals are preserved. The housing of the Contrec 214D ATEX Batch Controller is made from IP67 (Nema 4X) polycarbonate, making it completely watertight.
This Batch Controller includes a standard wall mount bracket, and a pipe mounting bracket is also available for rear or bottom installation. The pipe mounting stems allow for direct attachment of the Contrec 214D to turbine flowmeters.
